Drilling

Having invested in the latest drilling machine technology, this allows us to provide a complete drilling service to all our customers.

All steel projects require precise measurements where drilling is concerned. Contemporary walls/floors in residential/business properties, steel constructed works of art or drilling through steel beams for construction sites, our service covers them all.

Our machines are heavy duty, high performance and high speed that can cope with drilled and counter sunk holes and they are accurate.

We specialise in flat and long product drilling with fully programmable drilling machinery. We can also offer specialist edge profiling on request. If you need a cast number or any identifying marks, this service is also available.

Punching

We use the latest cutting technology to guarantee high quality products. We offer a range of sheet metal cutting solutions and deliver a high level of component detail and quality through the use of modern punching processes and laser cutting machines.

Our punch press is excellently maintained and our team is highly trained in a full range of metal forming techniques.

Our machines enable us to punch holes in sheet products very quickly and we have the ability to change punches during the operation to punch different shaped holes in the one set up.

What is Punching?

Punching is a metal fabricating process that removes a scrap slug from the product we are working on each time a punch enters the punching die. This process leaves a hole in the product. The punching operation is carried out in a punch press or turret punch press sometimes called a press brake.
Characteristics of the punching process include its ability to produce economical holes in both the strip and sheet metal during medium or high production processes and the ability to produce holes of varying shapes quickly.
The punching process forces a steel punch made of hardened steel into and through a piece of metal. The punch diameter determines the size of the hole created in the product.
Punched material is most normally in sheets, however roll material can also be punched.
Sheet metal punching is often the cheapest method for creating holes in sheet materials in medium and high volume productions.
